I installed an arrangement of wooden canvases that encircle in a small distance. The paintings appear separate, but their precise alignment on the wall suggests the outer frame. Since the panels are white, there is no boundary between the painting and the wall, implying its expansion and disappearance into the wall plane. Although the circular shape is iconic and prevalent, it is meant to have no deeper meaning. This allows me to explore the dialectic between graphic motif and abstract art. The circle further indicates the repetition within the form, independent of all subjective expressions.
